Marisa Di Sabatino has been active in solar silicon research throughout her professional career and is acting work package leader in work package 1, Sustainable silicon feedstock production, in the center.

She is deputy head of the Team Solar group under NTNU Energy and is collaborating in and coordinating research activities on solar energy across departments and faculties at NTNU. She has been active in popular dissemination of the possibilities that solar cells can provide for the society, e.g. within AgriPV, and has also engaged many students through dedicated teaching.

In general Marisa burns for increasing the overall knowledge about solar energy at NTNU and in the society, and for educating candidates with the competence that is needed to utilize solar energy in the future.
